The Greek cross is inscribed in a circular blue field that symbolizes the universe and the need for solidarity. The cross sustains and upholds humnanity gathered in the continents represented by the five doves. The cross is the same colors as the doves, signifying the Incarnation whereby God enters into human history and redeems it. The light that comes from the center of the design represents Christ, who is the light of the world. The colors of the logo reminds us that joy and peace are an integral part of the jubilee celebration.   What is BCCCS?

The Bucks County Catholic Committee on Scouting (BCCCS) is a group of individuals who promote Catholic religious values within the Scouting movement of the Bucks County Council, Pennsylvania area.  It is part of Region 3 (PA/NJ) of the National Catholic Committee on Scouting (NCCS). We are also a member of the Organization of Youth and Young Adults (OYYA) of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

 Boy Scout Choir
The Bucks County Catholic Committee on Scouting is accepting application for its new Boy Scout Choir.  It will be under the direction of Mr. Frank Cuda, who has had years of experience directing area Church choirs and is himself an accomplished musician.  Any Scout interested in sharing his musical talents and interests, (or any adult wishing to help), should contact Ronnie Simancik at 215-295-5601.

Dec 5, 1999 unit submits applications to the diocese
Dec 15, 1999 diocese submits one pack/troop/post to Region 3 NCCS.
Jan 1, 2000 Region 3 NCCS selects one pack/troop/unit to receive the award. All units submitting applications are also recognized.
