BUCKS COUNTY CATHOLIC COMMITTEE HOSTS ARCHDIOCEAN DINNER
On Sunday, April 21, 2002, the Bucks County Catholic Committee on Scouting hosted the annual Archdiocesan Recognition Dinner at the Maltese Room in Bensalem, PA. Scout leaders from the various Councils gathered to honor adults who are working in Catholic Scouting. The adults were awarded the St. John Neumann Emblem and the St. George Emblem. Our guest speaker was Phil Martelli, headcoach of St. Joseph’s University Basketball Team. He emphasized the importance of scouting, and was impressed that the Archdiocesan Dinner is celebrating its 40th year. His remarks included the importance of Catholic Scouting to the youth we serve.
In addition, Boy Scouts were awarded the Pope Pius XII Emblem for their work in workshops and passing a Board of Review.
