Academics at St. Anthony
St. Anthony provides a strong, well-rounded curriculum that offers a variety of experiences. Preschool and kindergarten use age appropriate techniques to help children build within themselves a lifetime of creative learning. Teachers of Grades 1-5 use a diversity of methods to meet students’ needs in a well-structured but flexible environment. Middle School offers students a strong academic program enhanced by interdisciplinary teaching, an advisory program, and exploratory courses. Technology is integrated into the learning experience at all levels. Students take educational field trips quarterly. They are encouraged to serve one another through peer tutoring and on the Student Council.
The science program teaches concepts from life, physical, and earth sciences. The science program uses a well stocked, science lab with many hands-on activities and multi-media and computer assisted instruction to supplement learning. The science lab has 22 notebook computers to assist learning.
St Anthony School is very proud of its many graduates who have been recognized by area high schools for their academic achievement. Many of our eighth graders have received academic scholarships to high school.
