St. Anthony is using a computer software program called Renaissance Place at school. This program has a special feature called Home Connect. Home Connect allows you and your child to view progress in Accelerated Reader while outside of school.

You can view Home Connect from any computer with an Internet connection using these browsers:

Internet Explorer 6.02 or later

Firefox 1.5 or later

Safari 2.03 or later

Consult the paper that was sent home, or ask your child for his/her user name and password.

In Home Connect you can also:

Click Email Setup to sign up to receive emails showing your student’s quiz or test results.

Click Help to get answers to your questions about Home Connect.

If your child will be new to St. Anthony this year you may see a list of books offered by Renaissance Place at the following link: http://www.arbookfind.com/default.aspx?client=HomeConnect. Please monitor books chosen by your child to make sure they are age appropriate and the subject content is consistent with Catholic school teachings. All book levels should be within two levels of the child’s grade. Students who read books outside of these requirements may not be allowed to take tests on the books.
