Vacation Bible School

Squeaky Beaker Come join us from July 7-11, 9 to 12 Noon, for VBS Power Lab. Power Lab is oozing with fun! Each day begins with prayer and music and then….wacky science adventures with Professor Gizmo, test tube treats, wacky works crafts, and more. And each day ends in the same way it begins—with singing, dancing, and celebrating!

Registration fee: $25; make check out to St. Mary’s Office of Religious Education, VBS fill out the application in the bulletin/back of church, and send to:

ELEMENTARY & JUNIOR HIGH PROGRAMS

Overview

We at the parish of St. Mary's, Wappingers Falls, look upon religious education as a total parish experience involving not just the child, but also parents, families, catechists, and priests that form our parish community of faith. We believe that religious education is getting to know Jesus and learning what is expected of one who chooses to follow him in the Catholic tradition. Our program reflects an integrated learning experience, composed of learning catechesis, prayer, sacramental preparation, traditional Catholic doctrine, biblical studies, liturgy, community building, and other dimensions of vibrant Church life. All Disciples Viewing Every Notion Toward Understanding Religious Experiences

St. Mary's A.D.V.E.N.T.U.R.E. Program is our alternative to the classroom model for students in grades 7 and 8. Courses are offered at various times and locations throughout the school year and cover the Archdiocesan Curriculum for Junior High. [More]

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)

Have you received your First Holy Communion? Have you celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation? Have you received these Sacraments as prescribed by the Catholic Church? Would you or someone you know like to become Catholic? Then the RCIA is for you! The process will begin in October with meetings on Tuesday nights at 7:00 p.m. in the Rectory Meeting Room. [More]
