CYOThe Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) has a long and rich history in St. Mary's Parish.  It was officially started in St. Mary's in 1940 by Pastor Rev. John J. Loughlin, Father John Donahue, and Joe McCloskey.

CYO provides an Intramural basketball program for parish children in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade.  CYO also provides a Travel basketball program which involves competition against other parishes for grades 5 through 8.  The goal of the CYO is to teach Christian values, teamwork, dedication, and honesty through its athletic, cultural, spiritual, and apostolic programs.  [More]

Mission Emergency
This committee was formed in early 1980 with Anita VanSlambrouck as chairperson, to provide an emergency source of food for needy people residing in our parish when they experience circumstances that leave them without adequate nourishment.

Each year, during the three holidays (Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas), we offer needy families of our parish a special bag of groceries to provide them with a nice holiday meal.  [More]

Respect LifeThe original name of this organization was the "Pro-Life" group, but has since changed to its current name in consent with the Archdiocesan Respect Life/Family Life Office in NYC, from which we receive guidance and direction.  Our parish group came into existence in 1973 when the Roe v. Wade decision of the Supreme Court legalized abortion during all nine months of pregnancy across the United States.

Our goal is to keep our parish educated and informed on the attacks on human life which are against the laws of God, and against our civil liberties, and to take action when at all possible.  There are several activities in which new members are welcomed to participate.  [More]

Teen GroupSt. Mary's Teen Group is youth-oriented and family-centered.  Its goals are to strengthen personal Christian awareness, and to strengthen the family as a Christian community.  Parish and community service is encouraged and personal Christian growth is emphasized.

Our motto is 1 Timothy 4:12: "Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young, but be an example for the believers in your speech, conduct, and your love, faith, and purity."  [More]

Thrift ShopThe primary purpose and goal of St. Mary's Thrift Shop is to benefit the children of St. Mary’s School, grades K—8.  Staffed by parent volunteers, we intend to provide a constant and substantial source of funds on a permanent basis.
