**NEW - Additional Information**
The goal of this day is to bring the young church (7th & 8th graders) together as a community to celebrate their uniqueness, their giftedness, and to help them explore God’s purpose for their lives. There will be food and fun, and we will conclude the day with Holy Eucharist.
Included in the registration fee is the cost of an online strength assessment. This assessment is the work of Dr. Donald Clifton of the Gallup Organization, and is based on the giftedness of each individual. By completing this assessment, each youth will discover his or her three major strengths (out of nine possible strengths). The adult version yields the individual’s top five strengths out of a total of 34. Several of the activities designed for November 7 will be based on this customized knowledge of each participant.

Celebrate one of the Bible’s best examples of turning lemons into lemonade. Robbed and sold into slavery by his brothers, Joseph could have lived a life filled with bitterness and hate. Instead, he stood on his faith in God to save him, and eventually returned home in triumph to pardon those who had wronged him. Disappointment can destroy the joy of living, or by contrast, make it all the more beautiful and precious. With faith, perseverance will always outlast persecution.
Attendance at BOTH sessions is required for credit!
