Fr. Joseph was born on 10th January, 1972 in Ayyampuzha, Kerala, India.

He was ordained to the Priesthood on 19 April, 2001.

From the year 2002 to 2005, he served as Editor for the Carmel Magazine in Trivandrum.

During this period, he also held two other positions as Director of the Benziger Memorial Spirituality Center and Assistant Director of the Carmel International Publishing House, both of which are located in Trivandrum.

Fr. Joseph joined the Vicariate of Kuwait in January 2006.

He served in the Vicariate for two years before leaving for his new appointment in August 2008.
