Father Albert Saveriraj re-joined the Vicariate of Kuwait on 3 August 2008. He had earlier served in the Vicariate of Kuwait from December 2003 to January 2005.
He joined the Carmelite order in May 28, 1979. He made his First Profession on September 8, 1983 and Solemn Profession on May 27, 1990. He has written a book on St. Therese of Lisieux in Tamil titled : "Mouna Punnagaiyal".

Keeping in mind your generosity and the needs of the Vicariate and after careful consideration, I here by appoint you as Chancellor of the Vicariate of Kuwait until 31st January 2011 in terms of canons 482 to 491 of the code of Canon Law.
The appointment is with immediate effect. Please familiarize yourself with regard to your rights and obligations as contained in the above mentioned canons. Also, you are allowed to do all that is needed for the pending cases of marriage. Your good heart and your enlightened mind will help you a lot in this new responsibility.
