Blessings
of Praying the Rosary

"There can be little doubt that the Church regards the Rosary as a treasure and a prayer of its own. The last twelve Popes have all warmly recommended the recitation of the Rosary and gone out of their way to set aside October for recitation of the Rosary. Some of their reasons are the following: 1) The Rosary is loved by the common folk. 2) The Rosary fosters faith. 3) The Rosary is a humble prayer of petition. 4) The Rosary has missionary power. 5) The Rosary highlights Mary's maternal role. 6) The Rosary has the rhythm of human life.
'At the same time our heart can enclose in these decades of the Rosary all the facts that make up the life of the individual, the family, the nation, the Church, and all humankind. They include personal matters and those of our neighbor, particularly persons who are closest to us. Thus in the simple prayer of the Rosary beats the rhythm of human life.' (Pope John Paul II)"
