Communication with Visitors

Spirit of the Living God, fall afresh on us!

September 1 (P.S. Sept. 8, 15, 26, 29)

Dear sisters and brothers in Christ:

How are you? It is nice communicating with you again. We hope that you have had a very restful summer in the whole Divine Heavenly Family. And, by this time, if you have not had a restful summer break yet, it is still not too late to head for one. Anybody who is not shocked by the necessity of a regular good rest has not understood what our body, mind and soul truly need to function well for us. In fact, the above paraphrasing structure is quoted from Niels Bohrs, the Danish physicist and Nobel laureate for 1922, who once said that anybody who is not shocked by quantum physics has not really understood it. (P. C. W. Davies and J. R. Brown, eds., The Ghost in the Atom: A Discussion of the Mysteries of Quantum Physics. Cambridge: Cambridge University Press, 1986, p. vii). Perhaps the following points could be added according to this structure:

1) Anybody who is not shocked by the infinite love and sacrifice of the living Jesus for us in the Blessed Sacrament has not really understood the absolutely inexcusable obligation to frequently visit, worship and give thanks to Jesus in His Real Presence. Perhaps, we need to do much repentance for it. Even the sick and those far away from the Sacred Host, etc., can still practice frequent spiritual Communion with Jesus.

2) Anybody who is not shocked by the tremendous importance of loving one another has not really understood the meaning of being part of Christ's Mystical Body or God's Family which includes everyone on earth. Hence, there is also need for us to practice repentance, even frequently.

3) Further, speaking on behalf of Theology of Energy, anybody who is not shocked by the fact that everything is radiating and interactive energy --- which affects our lives constantly in varying degrees --- has not really understood the great necessity of addressing our lives or deepening our faith, hope and love in energy terms, especially in terms of God's Uncreated Energy (i.e., grace).

Life is full of adjustments, yet honesty is the only way. Thanks be to God, the editor did have some wonderful rest during the last three months. Yet, in the midst of his summer research, he found his current call as a writer requires a lot of time ahead. As an advisor remarked, it is similar to being called to a rather permanent stage of doing thesis, one after another. He, therefore, has to substantially reduce the number of hours doing this website. Perhaps he can now only write once in a while for this column. Apparently, it would take a regular full 40-hour week to do this website responsibly well. Thank you for accepting this adjustment.

Meanwhile, may the Most Holy Trinity and Its whole Family of Holy Angels and Saints continue to bless us all ever more!

Yours very sincerely in Christ and Our Heavenly Mother,

Editor

P.S. Sept. 8

Today is the birthday of Our Heavenly Mother. Happy Birthday, Dearest Mother! As we know, she is, at the same time, also the Mother of God. Alleluia!

P.S. Sept.15

Today is Our Lady of Sorrows, a feast too important for us to overlook. Here is what is written two years ago today in this column:

"Today the Church celebrates the feast of Our Lady of Sorrows. Besides being known as our most sorrowful Mother, she is also known as the most sorrowful Daughter of God the Father, the most sorrowful Mother of God the Son, and the most sorrowful Spouse of the Holy Spirit.

In the best sense of the word, Jesus and Mary are the two most sensitive persons in the world whose greatest sorrow seems to be directly related to our sins and eternal salvation. Many times in the past, according to the personal witness of many Saints, they appeared in great tears of sorrow, begging us to pray for the conversion of hardened sinners and to do reparation for all the crimes committed against God and one another. To be sure, if only we can see what they see and feel what they feel, we would have done the same, begging one another in tears of sorrow to do the same. Since we may never see and feel what they see, we may as well trust the channels they have chosen for us.

This is where the Magisterium comes in --- to help us discern true mystics from false mystics, true visionaries from false visionaries.

Indisputably, one of the true mystics and visionaries is St. Bridget of Sweden. It is through her that God has revealed to us an excellent way: a) to share the sorrows of our most sorrowful Mother, as well as to console her; b) to do reparation of our sins; c) to help convert hardened sinners, etc.

We know who our true friends are when we are in sorrow. We know who really love us when we are not well. For an authentic way to prove that we really love and care for our most sorrowful Mother, click here."

Thank you.

P.S. September 26

Today we honour the eight martyrs of North America. Pray for us, Sts. Jean de Brébeuf, Issac Jaques and companions!

P.S. Sept. 29

Today is the important feast of Sts. Michael, Gabriel and Raphael, three of the Archangels of the Almighty God. For further information about the Holy Angels, click here. Thank you.
