Dear sisters and brothers in Christ,
How are you? It is nice to be communicating with you again after a few days of rest. The seminar presented by Fr. Henry McErlean was great. All the people present seemed quite impressed by it. Next Monday the seminar is on Faith Encounters The Celestine Vision. It is a brief comparison between two types of Theology of Energy, a Christian version versus a New Age one as summed up by James Redfield in his work entitled The Celestine Vision. Everyone is welcome to any of our coming seminars.
We have decided to spend the next few weeks completing some major editorial works over the different approaches to grace on our website. May God be praised! Besides the series of lectures, this then is our second major focus before the Christmas holidays. The third is the completion of the 10 grades of prayer.
As the present month is dedicated by the whole Church to praying for our suffering brothers and sisters in Purgatory, it is important that we have a special permanent home page for them. In due time, we would also do one on Heaven and one on Hell. By the grace of God, we have in fact just done a simple one on Purgatory. However slowly, more materials will surely be added to it. Click here for a view.
May we who are now in the Pilgrim Church continue to join forces with the whole Heavenly Church (i.e., the whole Divine Heavenly Family) in praying for the poor souls in our Suffering Church!
Thank you.
The editor
P.S. (Nov.5) By the grace of God, the Home Page of the Holy Spirit is tentatively done. It will be a permanent site here in honour of God the Holy Spirit, along with one for God the Father, one for God the Son and one for the Most Holy Trinity. To access it, click here. Thank you.
P.S. (Nov.6) We thank God for the grace. We also thank you for the prayers. However imperfect it is , Grade 4 of Prayer is now ready. Click here for it.
Finally, the editor has got the courage to go to the front page with Communications with Visitors. We apologize for our months of timidity on the one hand, and for your months of inconveniences on the other. Thank you above all for your patience.
Praise God!
P.S. (Nov.10) "I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God." (Yesterday's Entrance Antiphon) We thank God for the lecture yesterday on Christian Faith Encounters The Celestine Vision.
One may use three key words to highlight the nature of Theology of Energy here: Energization, Heavenization and Familization. It is obviously through Energization, i.e., the working of God's grace or Energy, that the making of Heaven and the realization of God's Family become possible. God is the Uncreated Living Heaven who creates everyone without exception to become a living Heaven, as according to His image (Gen 1:26). In varying degrees, this process has already begun on earth when we are baptized into God's Family as citizens of Heaven and living temples of the Holy Spirit.
One may say that Familization is also Fatherization when God becomes our Father. Apparently, it includes Motherization when Our Heavenly Mother becomes the Heavenly Mother of ours. In fact, the earlier Fatherization and Motherization are established in us, the earlier we would begin enjoying Energization, Familization and Heavenization. God has above all made them possible to us through the Holy Eucharist. When we receive the Sacred Host, do we not receive the very Source of all Divine Energy, the Uncreated Triune Family (the Holy Trinity), as well as all of the Living Heaven?
Anyway, these are some of the highlights and reflections over the discussion yesterday. Hopefully, the lecture itself would be published here on our web site within the next two months or so.
Thank you.
P.S. (Nov.11) Today is Remembrance Day. Let us remember in our prayers all those willing victims who have sacrificed their lives for the peace which we have been enjoying, beginning from Christ Jesus the Prince of Peace and the Victim of all victims, all the martyrs, soldiers, etc., including even Freddas Bwabwa (a good Samaritan in Toronto who gave his life last Saturday to make Heavenization a bit more possible for the city).
Thank you.
P.S. (Nov.12) Christmas is soon coming. Perhaps one of the greatest gifts we could give to God as well as to the Holy Family of Nazareth this season is our heart truly renewed in the Holy Spirit. As experienced by many, the 33 Days of Consecration is awesome. The Holy Spirit and Our Heavenly Mother, sent by Jesus Himself to us, would not cease helping us accordingly. Click here for it.
Thank you.
P.S. (Nov.13) By the grace of God, Grade 5 of Prayer is ready. To access it, click here. Praise God! Thank you.
P.S. (Nov.14) Today is Our Lady's Saturday. We have just done some meditation over the 33 Days of Consecration. It is truly out of this world! This is our little recommendation. If our time is limited, let us at least take five minutes to read through the daily meditation as a rare piece of spiritual literature. We may be surprised how heavenly and holy it is. Thanks be to God!
P.S. (Nov.16) Last night Dr. Tony Keogh presented a most wonderful lecture. He was presenting Prophetic Visions and the Church in terms of God's eternal Gospel. We wanted to stay on in eternity and found it very difficult to leave the hall. Hopefully, his lecture could be published on this site in the next two months or so.
Thank you.
P.S. (Nov.19) However imperfect, Grade Six of Prayer is put together. Praise God! To access it, click here. Thank you.
P.S. (Nov.23) Yesterday the Church celebrated the Feast of Christ the King. The Entrance Antiphon read: "The Lamb who was slain is worthy to receive strength and divinity, wisdom and power and honour: to him be glory and power for ever." The Opening Prayer was equally awesome: "Almighty and merciful God, you break the power of evil and make all things new in your Son Jesus Christ, the King of the universe. May all in heaven and earth acclaim your glory and never cease to praise you." For a prayer dedicating the whole human race to Christ, the King of kings and Lord of lords, click here.
This morning the number of visitors on the counter of this web site has been switched back to no.1, beyond our control. It has thus started the counter anew as of November 22, the Feast of Christ the King. Praise God! Christ the All-Ruler of the universe is and should indeed be our Alpha, as well as our Omega and Continuation. To Christ be all praise, glory and honour, for ever and ever! Amen.
P.S. (Nov.24) Last night Cora Twohigmoengangongo, Th.D., gave an amazing lecture, despite her recent car accident. We are truly grateful for her heroic commitment. Based on her profound insights on Bernard Lonergan's Method in Theology, she remarkably expounded Rom 5:1-5 regarding our personal, historical, social and global visions over the millennium. Indeed, "suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us." (Rom 5:3-5)
By the grace of God, the Catholic Charismatic Home Page has also been updated as seen on our home page. Praise God! And thank you for your prayers.
P.S. (Nov.27) By the grace of God, the second stage of our website has just been completed. What a grace and blessing we have received from the whole Divine Heavenly Family, i.e., the Most Holy Trinity and the whole Family of Holy Angels and Saints! As you may recall, on Sept. 21 of this year, the following was written: "Regarding the completion of the website mentioned: 1.Insofar as the website is designed and up running, this stage was completed a year ago; 2. Insofar as each major category on the website is red-asterisked, this stage may take two years or so to be completed; 3. Insofar as filling the website with contents which we dream of, this stage may take quite a few years or decades ahead to complete."
We also thank the advice and prayers which we have received, encouraging and empowering us to complete this second stage as early as possible. However imperfect still it is, let us truly praise and thank God in our prayer. From this moment on we will be taking our time to complete the third stage, i.e., the next unending stage.
Although the editor is ahead in the above, he may be quite behind in putting Divine Milieus together, due to various adjustments he had to and is going to make. As far as his commitments are concerned in 1999, first he may have to spend the first few months focusing on a paper and lecture he has to deliver during a symposium in the 1999 Ultimate Reality and Meaning Conference. This work concerns energy as an emerging universal unifying paradigm in the third millennium. Then he would take his time to complete both Divine Milieus and the third volume of A Handbook of Theology of Energy. Meanwhile, before the two-week Christmas holiday beginning on December 20, he would like to complete summing up the various grades of prayer and the publication of the essays received from the speakers on Visions 2000.
Once again we thank the whole Divine Heavenly Family for their blessing and we also thank you for your prayers which we do not deserve. May the Holy Trinity and all the Holy Angels and Saints bless you all!
Thank you.
P.S. (Nov.30) The Year of God the Father has just started, from Nov. 29 1998 to Nov. 27, 1999. As we know, the Archdiocese of Toronto has released its study kit. In due time, it would also put it on the internet. For such information, click here. Thank you.
Today is also the feast of St. Andrew the apostle. Pray for us, dear St. Andrew. Bring us to Christ, just as you bring others to Him! Amen.
