Communication with Visitors

Spirit of the Living God, fall afresh on us!

May 1 (P.S. May 2,13,14,18,31)

Dear sisters and brothers in Christ,

It is nice communicating with you again. Today is the first day of the month of Mary. At the same time, it is also a day in honour of St. Joseph the Worker, a second feast day proclaimed by Pope Pius XII in his honour. As Our Heavenly Mother desires primarily that we always do whatever God tells us, St. Joseph was exemplified exactly in that throughout his life. Guided by the Holy Spirit, he consistently sought to serve God, Christ, Mary and his neighbours as a humble worker.

May Jesus, Mary and Joseph in the Holy Family continue to bless us accordingly!

Yours sincerely in our dear Resurrected Jesus, Heavenly Mother and St. Joseph,

Editor

P.S. (May 2) Today is the Feast of St. Athanasius, heroic and fearless defender of orthodoxy in the Early Church. Facing great risks oftentimes, he was in fact exiled at least five times by non-Christian emperors. It appears that God is calling many to become St. Athanaius today with regards faith and moral issues.

Pray for us, dear St. Athanasius!

P.S. (May 13) Today Pope John-Paul II personally travels to Fatima to beatify Jacinto and Francisco Morto, immensely reinforcing the message of Our Heavenly Mother at Fatima. It was 83 years ago today when She began to appear to these two young visionaries at Fatima. The third child, Sr. Lucia dos Sanctos, is a 93-year-old nun living in a Portuguese convent.

In fact, the five saintly persons mentioned above resemble very much St. Athanasius (i.e., Our Heavenly Mother, Pope John-Paul II, the two young visionaries and Sr. Lucia). Although they have not been put in external exile, it appears that they have been exiled or distanced from interiorly as a hard act to follow by many people in the world. People in general, for example, find the two revealed secrets at Fatima difficult to believe.

Accordingly, the first secret is that there is everlasting Hell and countless poor sinners have fallen forever in it. Countless too may perish likewise if they do not repent. The second is that, to save our souls from such eternal damnation, God wishes to establish in the world devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. God specifically wants us to consecrate ourselves and Russia to the Mother of God as Our Heavenly Mother.

To consecrate ourselves to the Immaculate Heart of Mary simply means to consecrate ourselves to Our Heavenly Mother who loves us with all her Immaculate Heart, unceasingly so. Wow! What an immense gift from Jesus Himself. Besides the Gift of Holy Eucharist per se, Our Heavenly Mother is something much better than what we could ever have asked for from God!

P.S. (May 14) Today is Mother's Day. Let us ask our Dearest Mother in Heaven, Mother of Mothers, to bless all our dearest mothers! Alleluia!

Here is a Mammie Prayer to Our Heavenly Mother (for private use only) which some of us may like to pray once in a while, very slowly, intimately and sweetly:

Hail Mary, Mammie (Mother, Mom, Mommie, etc.),

Full of Grace, Mammie,

The Lord is with you, Mammie,

Blessed are you among women, Mammie,

And blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus, Mammie.

Holy Mary, Mammie,

Mother of God, Mammie,

Pray for us sinners, Mammie,

Now, Mammie, and at the hour of our death, Mammie.

Amen. Mammie.

"Behold, your Mother!" (Jn 19:27) Our Heavenly Mother is, therefore, really given to us. Without mistake, the Mother of God is shared with us most generously by Jesus Our Lord. After calling Our Heavenly Mother Mammie intimately so many times, it would be impossible for Our Mammie Dearest not to pay intimate attention to us (as an individual or a group) and intercede for us awesomely as the true Mother of God.

As it always works in some way, perhaps we should just try it.

Alleluia!

P.S. (May 18) "Mama Mia, there are so many Mammies in the Mammie Prayer above!" Well, one may have another choice, namely, the One-Mammy Mammy Prayer. Again, the following is for private use only:

Hail Mary,

Full of Grace,

The Lord is with you,

Blessed are you among women,

And blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary,

Mammy (Mom, Mommie, etc.) of God,

Pray for us sinners,

Now and at the hour of our death,

Amen.

P.S. (May 31) Beginning from June 1, the editor would like to take the rest of the summer off --- until perhaps the beginning of September --- for rest and research. Meanwhile, two thoughts are possible.

First, the real existence of the devils and Hell, as revealed to us by the Church and confirmed by Our Heavenly Mother in Fatima, are two of the most difficult doctrines for the Church to defend today. It will certainly take quite a few people like St. Anthanasius to deal with them. Here, we can only ask our dear sisters and brothers in Christ not to be deceived or led astray by, for example, the following:

1) Scientism, which says that science is the measure of everything.

2) Rationalism, which says that our sheer human rationale (i.e., human reason undivinized by God's grace and unenlightened by Divine Revelation) is also the measure of all things.

3) The invisible evil spirits who have been lying to us since the time of the first humans. They will continue to do so, without ceasing, as long as people live on earth.

4) The so-called postmodern freedom, on which Don Cupitt writes:

"The world is only an endlessly shifting purely contingent order of signs of motion, a Sea of Meanings […] And just the ability to see this and say it is precisely what gives us our new and joyful freedom […] Your God is only your faith in him, your values are only your commitment to them. This is liberation. You're free." (D. Cupitt, The Time Being (London: SCM Press, 1992), p.66, cited in D. Cheetham, "Postmodern Freedom and Religion" in Theology (London: SPCK, January/February 2000), p. 29)

5) Certain contemporary theories of truth, such as Deflationary Theories. According to Richard L. Kirkham, these theories unanimously teach that "there is no such property as truth and thus there is no need for, or sense to, a theory of truth […] Thus, for deflationists, the classical theories of truth, such as correspondence, coherence and pragmatic, are not wrong. They are something worse: they are wrong-headed from the start, for they are attempting to analyse something which simply is not there." (R.L. Kirham, "Truth, Deflationay Theories of", in Concise Routledge Encyclopedia of Philosophy (London & New York: Routledge, 2000) p. 900)

The second thought is: The whole creation is permeated and enveloped through and through --- infinitely, ceaselessly and beyond all imaginations --- by God's omnipresence and grace (which include various gifts of the Holy Spirit). The problem is to tap into them. How?

The three secrets appear to be: praying, praying and more praying, wholeheartedly so. Yes, we have to pray not only when we pray, but also before, during and after our spiritual meditation, good works and practice of virtues. As God's Uncreated Energy begins to be intensified more and more within and around, it would be impossible for us living in the state of grace not to begin tapping deeper (or much deeper) into God's omnipresence and grace. Alleluia!

As we know, the three greatest prayers of the Church are the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Holy Rosary, and the Divine Office (or the Liturgy of the Hours which our clergy and some lay pray daily). One may try, for example, to do so a few hours each day for a few days during his or her summer vacation or retreat. Apparently, the best way to do them is before the living God in the Tabernacle.

Anyway, have a wonderful summer in the whole Divine Heavenly Family!

May God bless you all!

Alleluia!
