Communication with Visitors Spirit of the Living God, fall afresh on us! December 1, 1998 (P.S. Dec.3,7,8,9,11,12,14,15,16,18,23,24) Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ, How are you? It is nice to be communicating with you again. Yesterday we did have a most inspiring lecture given by Prof. Janine Langan on Teilhard's Faith and Vision of the Catholic Church. It is indeed one of her favourite topics as she has been reading Teilhard since the age of fourteen. We are truly thankful to her. This is also the busiest time of the present academic term. Talking about the Cosmic Christ, Prof. Langan quoted Teilhard who revealed to us this exciting truth: "I am fully, and ever more, convinced that the world can only fulfill itself in Christ, and that Christ is only found in interior fidelity to the church my only passion has been for a long time the glory and radiance of Jesus the Christ." (letter on Sept. 25, 1947) Thinking along with the Jesuit mystic and thinker, she concurred: "Everybody is charged with God. Touch the person in the right way and the spark will flourish." How great an optimism this vision can bring to us Catholics today, in particular in our efforts to evangelize the world! By the grace of God, Grade 7 of Prayer, however imperfect, is now ready. Click here for it. Thank you. * * * P.S. (Nov.3) By the grace of God, the summary of the various grades of prayer, in all its imperfections, is finally completed. As mentioned, our purpose is reached if this summary could inspire us to do further study and perhaps make some progress on prayer. For better results, we may have to read and re-read Prof. Jordan Aumann's work. To access this summary, click here. Moreover, there are three little things which readers can do to help the editor: 1) Read the material like reading an e-mail and ignore any grammatical mistakes. As we know, because of the time involved, most e-mails have not been proofread by another person; 2) Try not to read into the contents which at times may be too easy to be misinterpreted; 3) Say a Glory Be when possible. Praise God! Alleluia! And thank you! "Ha! Ha!" (i.e., laughing in the Lord) * * * P.S. (Dec.7) By the grace of God, the home page of Heaven, however imperfect, is done. You may already have discovered it in the front index page. Praise be to God! In celebration of the great feast of the Immaculate Conception tomorrow, we would like to do three things as follows: a) to help spread the special Hour of Grace which apparently belongs still to what the Church classifies as private revelation. However, let us continue to give Our Lady and those promoting it the great benefits of doubt. After all, Our Heavenly Mother's message is affirming only that of the Church, i.e., repentance, penance and prayer in Christ who is the Way to Heaven, both on earth and in Heaven. Indeed, there are always individuals among our family, relatives, friends, or neighbours, etc., who need God's special grace of conversion. This special Hour of Grace for them might become our greatest Christmas gift to them this season. In case our situation does not allow us that hour of time, perhaps we could just pray for them at another hour. Besides, the sins of impurity on the internet appear to be hurting also very much the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. This is really one of the very special occasions to console the Two Holy Hearts who love us very much. Without doubt, they would not have suffered anything if they had chosen not to care for us at all. To access this Hour of Grace, click here. b) We would like to continue spreading the 33 Days of Consecration to those who have not read the messages. Hopefully, by the end of the third day, they would begin doing the 33 Days of Consecration in some way if their hearts are so touched. For some profound insights on the Immaculate Heart of Mary, click here. c) We would like to dedicate or consecrate St. Teresa's Nine Grades of Prayer to the Immaculate Heart of Mary without whose intercession this work would not have been made possible, however very imperfect it still is. Praise God and thank you. * * * P.S. (Dec.8) Today is the great feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Click here for an awesome message concerning Our Heavenly Mother. Speaking to those who give themselves the benefits of doubt concerning the Hour of Grace: do not forget to do so during the noon hour as mentioned yesterday. Last night John McRae brought in his community to Lynch Hall and presented a truly awesome lecture. He would have easily gone on until midnight. [Dr.] John McRae in his humility does not believe in degrees. He only wants to be known as John McRae, founder of the Global Beacon Community and Mother of Mercy Farm. The Community is celebrating its tenth anniversary on Saturday, July 3rd 1999 on Mother of Mercy Farm, Combermere, Ont. Everybody is invited to the farm to participate in the High Mass at noon. For further information, call 416-233-9284. In his talk entitled "Pope John Paul II and His Global Vision for the 21st Century," the global vision of the Pope --- a great saint, visionary, prophet, teacher and soldier of Christ --- could be somewhat summarily highlighted as follows: "Be not afraid of the coming century. Welcome Christ and accept His power. Open your hearts to Christ and you will never be afraid. It is impossible to be a real Christian and not be filled with the happiness and hope of Christ. The battle has always been with us since Adam. It will never disappear until the second coming of Christ. In fact, the worldwide clash between good and evil is only increasing, e.g., between the cultures of life and death. In any case, do not worry about your visions. Concentrate on Jesus Christ upon whom every kneel shall bow. The cancer of the world today is despair. Fear prevents us to do the things that we should do and makes us do the things which we should not do. Christ and His Mother were inseparable on earth, have been inseparable in history, and will be inseparable in the future, even for all eternity, in particular in helping us to win the battle against the three sources of evil, namely, the anti-Christian world, flesh and devil. Indisputably, evil exists. Sin exists. Satan exists. At the same time, there has never been a pope in history talking more about Angels and Saints who are our great friends and partners in battle. Yet if we follow their example and become truly one with Christ and His Mother, it is impossible for us not to overcome evil together with them. Further, if we are docile to the Holy Spirit in true humility, loving God and everyone around, the coming century will be an invincible spring time of grace and fruits of God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit over the whole world " Thank you, [Dr.] John McRae for your timely message on this eve of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Thank you also, our readers, for taking time to visit our website. * * * P.S. (Dec.9) Let us also take a few minutes to slowly meditate the following message concerning the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Click here for it. Thank you. * * * P.S. (Dec.11) By the grace of God, the Home Page of Hell is now tentatively done. Click here for it. Please let us know any of its imperfections which we can improve on. To e-mail your opinions to us, click here. Thank you. * * * P.S. (Dec.12) Today is the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, known also as the Patroness of the Americas (North and South). This feast day is quite well known in the South America. For a view of her icon, click here. For a special visit to her website, click here. We would also like to dedicate or consecrate the newly re-coloured or re-designed Home Page of Mary's Salvation of Souls to her. Click here for a view of it. Thank you. * * * P.S. (Dec.14) Today is the feast day of St. John of the Cross. For information on the saint, click here and here. Thank you. * * * P.S. (Dec. 15) Last night Rev. Prof. Michael Lapierre, S.J., a chief theological advisor for this website, gave a wonderfully enlightening and interesting lecture on the Beatific Vision, the ultimate destiny of our earthly life. The question period itself went on and on for one whole hour. Accordingly, our Beatific Vision of God in Heaven consists of "what no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man conceived, what God has prepared for those who love him." (1Cor 2:9) It is the unending fulfillment of what Christ has promised us: "I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly." (Jn 10:10) In this eschatological end of our walk with God, not only do we see God "face to face" (1Cor 13:12), we also possess Him eternally as He is. However, in this ever-present face-to-face union with God in Heaven, both faith and hope no longer exist. What remains is our perfect love of God for all eternity. Although we see God as He is, we do not see Him in the same manner as He sees Himself, nor possess Him in the same manner as He possesses Himself. We keep our creaturehood "as partakers of divine nature" (2Pet 1:4) whose journey as such begins right here and now Thank you, Prof. Lapierre, for this truly wonderful talk and discussion about our Beatific Vision in Heaven. At the same time, we would like also to thank Rev. Fr. Robert Foliot, S.J., the pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, for his great support without which this series of lectures would not have been feasible here. May the whole Divine Heavenly Family also bless all those who have made the 1998 St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Gregory Palamas Public Lectures possible! * * * P.S. (Dec.16) The church which appeared on our home page (in the front) yesterday is probably one of the most beautiful in the world today. We will put it back after the Christmas season. Thank you. * * * P.S. (Dec. 18) To take a look at the church mentioned above, click here. Isn't it beautiful for the front of our home page? This church is located at Passau, Germany. Meanwhile, we would like to take our two-week holiday a day earlier, so that we can focus on the preparation for Christmas. Praise God! We will worry about the lecture papers after the holiday. May the whole Divine Heavenly Family be with you during this holy Christmas season! Thank you. * * * P.S. (Dec. 23) We came upon two wonderful music sites which we would like to share. For some Christmas music, click here. And for some unforgettable old Catholic hymns, click here. Praise God! Alleluia! We wish you a truly merry, merry Christmas and Happy New Year! It is a season when we can do what we usually do not have time for, like visiting family and friends surfing websites including spending a lot of time before the Holy Eucharist, i.e., before the Living Heaven. After two or more hours, usually we could not help but become a little living heaven in varying degrees. Whenever we really try it, we would rediscover such a verifiable living truth, again and again! Praise God! Ho! Ho! Ho! (and Ha! Ha! Ha! too, i.e., rejoicing in Christ Our Lord and the best of all friends!) Perhaps the greatest Santa Claus in town is this Living Heaven waiting for us in the Tabernacle! Thank you. * * * P.S. (Dec. 24) There are three things which we would like to say before Christmas and New Year. First, we would like to thank God and Our Heavenly Mother with all our heart for the following blessings: a) We prayed (if God was willing) for a new computer to put some music on this website on December 8, feast of the Immaculate Conception, during that special Hour of Grace. As you may have already discovered, the music, however imperfect still, is now on many of our webpages. Praise God! b) During that Hour of Grace, we also prayed for the conversion of some lapsed Cathoics. This petition has begun to take place, slowly as it is. An hour ago, for example, a lapsed Catholic suddenly called us to bring him to midnight Mass. c) A few days ago on December 21 we received an e-mail from a 15 year-old girl thanking us for this website. This is perhaps one of the greatest affirmations of our site, along with the earlier ones. Praise God indeed together with the whole Family of Holy Angels and Saints in Heaven. Click here to read that letter. Secondly, following an Eastern Orthodox tradition, we would like to ask pardon most sincerely for any wrongs which we might have done against anybody during 1998, whether or not on this website. Some times we might have said or brought about things which could be offensive without our awareness. Thirdly, we wish all our dear visitors again a truly holy and happy Christmas and New Year in the whole Divine Heavenly Family! Alleluia! God truly loves us all. Sometimes we may have to rediscover it through prayers. As a suggestion, let us ask God, perhaps through the intercession of our dear angelic and saintly friends in Heaven also, for the gift of deep prayers during this holiday. Thank you! * * *
